Successful Applications Announced - Premier's Fund 2023
17 December 2023
Today the Premier announced 25 successful projects that will receive funding under the latest round of the Premier's Fund for Children and Young People.
This new round of funding delivers on a key action within Tasmania's Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy - It Takes a Tasmanian Village and will provide increased access to social and recreational opportunities within local communties for children and young people across all regions of Tasmania.
Projects funded in this round are in response to a need or idea that has been informed by feedback from Tasmanian children and young people, with many of the projects incorporating ongoing engagement and co-design opportunities for local children and young people. The funded projects cover a broad range of activities and interests and span different age groups, from the early years through to young adults. Successful projects include activities that will increase access to outdoor equipment, music and dance programs, puppet workshops and performances, new play spaces and learn to sail opportunities.
