Wellbeing Domains in Action – Improving Student Wellbeing

29 October 2021

The 2021 Student Wellbeing and Engagement Survey, run statewide by the Department of Education, is a great example of how the wellbeing domains can be used in practice to improve child and youth wellbeing.

Approximately 30,000 Tasmanian students participated in the survey, expressing their views about how we can improve their wellbeing and engagement in learning.

You can read the 2021 Statewide Report or check out the 2021 infographic below, which shows survey results structured by the six wellbeing domains.

The Student Wellbeing and Engagement Survey provides valuable data to inform approaches to wellbeing in our schools, and it will be used to plan and implement programs and professional learning to directly support the wellbeing of all Tasmanian students.
