The Tasmanian Commissioner for Children and Young People, Leanne McLean, has launched Your Engagement Place (YEP!); a new participation program for Tasmanian children and young people.

YEP! provides children and young people with ways to engage with the Commissioner and other organisations in Tasmania. It enables children and young people to have their voice heard and share their views on topics that are important to them through participation in things like surveys, focus groups, online chats and other fun activities.

YEP! membership is open to children and young people who live in Tasmania and are under 18 years. Teachers, parents/carers and other adults who would like to keep informed of engagement opportunities for children and young people can join the YEP! mailing list.
